Salvation Pizza Kitchen & Bar, nestled on Rainey Street in Austin, offers a diverse pizza menu that has garnered consistent praise from patrons. Reviewers rave about the generous portions and delicious flavors, especially the small and large pizza options, which include popular choices like Barbecue and Buffalo Chicken. The 14" Gluten Free Cauliflower pizza at $22 is a highlight for those seeking healthier options without sacrificing taste. Customer experiences emphasize the laid-back atmosphere, ideal for sports fans, while also appreciating the friendly service from staff like Scarlett, who is noted for her attentiveness. While the ambiance may not scream sports bar, the focus on quality food, including well-reviewed appetizers like meatballs and wraps, shines through. Some reviews hint at rising prices but affirm that the delectable offerings—such as upscale thin-crust gourmet pizzas topped with fresh veggies—justify the cost. Highlights also include a delightful Caesar salad and garlic knots, providing a well-rounded dining experience. Overall, Salvation Pizza Kitchen & Bar is lauded as a cozy neighborhood spot with a welcoming vibe, making it an excellent go-to for both locals and visitors craving high-quality pizza and a friendly environment.

Came last year with my teenage son and he loved it so we came again. Once again very solid. I think their Greek salad is phenomenal and my son loved the garlic knots. They only have small and large pizza and dining with a teen boy I assumed we needed a large. Not true! Lol. The large was HUGE - way too much for two people - but it was only 4 more than the small so I wasn’t mad they did not warn me. But def be careful how much to order. Otherwise great pizza. Basic sports bar vibes / lots of TVs - not much standout except the great food! Highly recommend

The service was excellent! Bartender was great!!! Asked for an old fashioned and it was excellent. Ordered the meatballs as a starter and was really surprised at how good they were. Just the right spice, marinara, and heat. Also ordered the turkey club wrap with fries. Fries were nearly perfect and the wrap is worth the drive for sure. For a sports bar it didn’t really have the perfect sports bar vibe but I would definitely recommend this place for the food and service.

This place has gone UPscale since my first date visit 3 years ago! Before: While my man LOVED the food and prices then, I had to make do with a lackluster salad (hello low carb). Today: Everyone, including mom and I, loved our upscale thin crust gourmet pizza with fresh, beautiful veggies. However, we noticed the prices have gone way up while the service was just ok (considering it was just 2 staff for the whole place). 2 pizzas and 2 drinks was just shy of 100.

Salvation has been my go-to spot since I moved to Austin's Rainey Street in 2018. It's the only place on Rainey that has that genuine "neighborhood bar" feel. Over the years, I've gotten to know everyone, from the owners to the kitchen staff and bartenders. Salvation offers very good food (great pizzas, but the menu has much more than that, the burgers are amazing), a friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere perfect for spending quality time. Everyone at Salvation feels like family to me. More recently, I had the opportunity to meet Scarlett, one of the newest bartenders, and she is so attentive and sweet; she makes my day every time I see her. Frank

Great pizza, great service, and an awesome vibe. Awesome TV screens to watch the game. Came to watch the F1 Grand Prix and really enjoyed the experience. Will be back!

An EXCELLENT place to go hang out and have drinks with friends while you watch the big game, or simply stop by for their excellent food. My son and I stopped in for lunch and had the Margerhita Pizza with Pepperoni and the Fried Mozzarella Sticks. The food was fresh, fast, and absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Our server, Reagan, was very nice, friendly, and professional. He exemplified what good customer service SHOULD be in a time when good customer service is hard to find. Our entire experience was FANTASTIC!!!
